Seachtain na Gaeilge 2024

Today we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge with a Lá Glás. All pupils made a huge effort by dressing up in green and we even had some creative costumes and faces painted. The day was full of lots of fun activities starting with our morning assembly. Each classroom performed an Irish song or poem for the rest of the school and we also announced the winners of our Irish poster competition. Well done to all pupils who put in a lot of work and effort with their poster. After break, we had our Céilí Mór in the hall where we danced The Walls of Limerick, The Siege of Ennis and Shoe the Donkey. All pupils tried their best and made a huge effort with the dances. After lunch we had our annual Tráth na gCeist. Well done to the winning teams and well done to all who took part.
