Irish American Partnership

We recently received a cheque from the Irish American Partnership for $1500 to go towards the funding of literacy, maths or science in our school. We were nominated for this grant by Partnership member Larry Furlong. Larry is a relation of the Timmons family who currently attend our school. We are extremely grateful to the Irish American Partnership and to Larry for their most generous contribution to Clonmore N.S. and their continued support.

The Irish American Partnership connects Irish and Irish American communities directly with education and community programs in Ireland, North and South.  It was founded in Ireland in 1986 to organize Irish American support on behalf of job creation, education, and economic development in Ireland.  In the past three decades, Irish American supporters of the Partnership throughout the United States, have provided over $33 million dollars in assistance to Ireland. More than 500 primary schools, higher educational institutions and hundreds of community organizations, North and South, have received assistance.
