Our American Visitors!

We were delighted last week to welcome Larry and Emily Furlong to our school. They had travelled all the way from America for a family wedding and made time to call in and see us in Clonmore NS. Larry and Emily were very special guests as they are part of the Irish American Partnership and have nominated our school on many occasions for funding for books, science equipment, tablets, outdoor projects and much more. We are extremely grateful to Larry and Emily for their generosity and support for our school throughout the years. To show our appreciation their relations John and Méabh Timmons presented them with a school jersey and our students designed a special thank you card. We look forward to welcoming the Furlongs to our school again on their next trip to Ireland. Thanks once again Larry and Emily!
